CFB Injuries & Updates – Wed. November 25

In Wednesday news Minnesota WR Rashod Bateman opted out of the rest of the season to prepare for the NFL draft. RB Alex Fontenot (Colorado) may miss the whole season while RB Devyn Ford’s (Penn State) status for this weekend is unclear. In WR news, KD Nixon (Colorado) sounds hopeful to play this weekend, but Clemson’s Joseph Ngata had abdominal surgery and will miss the rest of the regular season.

  • KJ Costello, Miss State – sounds doubtful for the rest of the season
  • JaCobian Morgan, Syracuse – did not practice Tuesday
  • Dorian Thompson-Robinson, UCLA – availability this week is unclear

RBs:

  • Tank Bigsby, Auburn – did not practice yesterday
  • Alex Fontenot, Colorado – unlikely to play this year
  • Devyn Ford, Penn State – still being evaluated and hope to hear from doctors on availability soon, but team is preparing to play without him this weekend
  • Jawan King, Rice – enters transfer portal
  • Dedrick Mills, Nebraska – has practiced this week, may be a gametime decision
