In injury updates, Alabama WR Jaylen Waddle returned to action but was clearly limited, and Ohio State RB Master Teague returned from concussion protocol. Ohio State RB Trey Sermon suffered an upper body injury after his first carry, left the game, and was taken to the hospital. Alabama WR DeVonta Smith left the game in the second half with a dislocated finger and did not return.
Notable players entering the transfer portal were Nebraska WR Wan’Dale Robinson and UTSA WR Brennon Dingle.
Announcing they would return next season was SMU WR Reggie Roberson.

CBB Injuries & Updates from Mon. January 11
On Monday James Bouknight was out again for UConn with an elbow injury, Oscar Lopez remained out for DePaul with a knee injury, and Dallas Walton remained out for Colorado with a leg injury. Branden Carlson (Utah) left the game late in the second half with an apparent ankle injury, and Jeremiah Williams (Temple) missed most of the second half with leg cramps.
In injury updates, Bourama Sidibe (Syracuse) is hopeful for Tuesday, while Jalen Johnson (Duke) will dress but sounds questionable. Bryce Thompson (Kansas) is also questionable for Tuesday, and Casey Morsell (Virginia) returned to practice from covid protocols.
Jemarl Baker (Arizona) is out for the season with a broken wrist suffered on Saturday. Xavier Foster (Iowa State) will miss the rest of the season due to foot surgery, but Pitt’s Justin Champagnie is hopeful to return quicker than 6-8 weeks. Abayomi Iyiola (Arkansas) could be medically cleared in early February as he returns from a torn ACL.
