CBB Player Updates from Mon-Tues. Aug 23-24
Notable names in the transfer portal included Andrew Platek (UNC, 3.7 ppg) and Cashius McNeilly (Texas A&M) appears to be back as he will reportedly not transfer to TCU as previously was shared.
Announcing a transfer destination was Ryan Wade (Holy Cross to Central Michigan).

- Creighton – Rati Andronikashvili and Modestas Kancleris both close to being cleared (ACLs)

- Mason Faulkner, Louisville – had not yet been cleared (ankle), a few more weeks

- KK Robinson, Arkansas – fully cleared for the fall (foot)
- James Rojas, Alabama – hopeful to return for SEC play (ACL)

- Kolby Lee, BYU – had announced a transfer to Dixie State but instead will retire
- Matt McFarlane, Wichita State – left the program for personal reasons, unclear if will enter portal
- Cashius McNeilly, Texas A&M – apparently has decommitted from transfer to TCU
- Andrew Platek, UNC – enters the portal – 3.7 ppg

In injury news, Pelle Larsson (Arizona, transfer from Utah) has a broken bone in his foot and his return for the start of the season is unclear, but Mekhi Mitchell (Rhode Island) is full-go after having knee surgery last season.
Announcing transfer destinations were Mike Peake (Austin Peay to New Mexico State) and Tuongthach Gatkek (Trinity Valley CC to Florida).

- DJ Harvey, Detroit – Vanderbilt transfer is immediately eligible this season – 6.3 ppg
- Jeriah Horne, Tulsa – Colorado transfer is immediately eligible this season (returning to Tulsa, began career at Nebraska)- 10.8 ppg
